Mental Health

This section provides information about mental health rights and recovery resources for children and adults receiving or seeking mental health services in Ohio.

The OLRS PAIMI Advisory Council

The Ohio Legal Rights Service (OLRS) is Ohio's federally mandated Protection and Advocacy System for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI). This federal mandate requires the establishment of an Advisory Council. In Ohio, this is the OLRS PAIMI Advisory Council. The OLRS PAIMI Advisory Council is made up of members who advise OLRS on priorities and policies that affect people who are mentally ill. To learn more about the OLRS PAIMI Advisory Council, see the OLRS PAIMI Advisory Council section.
