Ohio Legal Rights Service (LRS) staff advocate from the position that all people are entitled to make decisions about where, how, and with whom they live, learn, and work as full and equal members of society. In representing individuals and groups, and in the arena of public policy, LRS staff are directed by the people the agency serves. LRS' partnership with people with disabilities is the foundation of its advocacy.
LRS provides legal advocacy and rights protection to a wide range of Ohioans with disabilities. The following are summaries of cases represented by LRS. These are just a few examples of the issues LRS resolved in partnership with people with disabilities.
