Social Security Disability Benefits

The Social Security Administration offers programs for people with disabilities, called the Social Security and Supplemental Security Income disability programs. While these two programs are different in many ways, both are administered by the Social Security Administration and only individuals who have a disability and who meet specific medical criteria may qualify for benefits under either program.

The following are links to different sections of the Social Security Administration's Web site about benefits for children and adults with disabilities.
