OSEP finds Ohio's Department of Education non-compliant with special education regulations

The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) of the U.S. Department of Education conducted a verification visit in October 2009. In a letter issued to the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) on March 25, 2010, OSEP listed several areas where ODE is non-compliant with Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
